I did my own with oxy/acetylene and brazing rod...I also turned the manifold over and used my cut-off saw to make a slit and whipped up and brazed in an 1/8 inch divider for exhaust separation. I used an old flange from a cracked 345 IHC manifold found in the s**** bin...sounded wonderful with a pair of gl***pacs and tailpipes all the way out the back of my truck.
The braze job lasted about 11 months and came loose. I ground off the br*** and one of the guys at work used ni-rod [Nickle] to re-do it right....had to run 2 gaskets to fight the warpage.
    Man, it sounded so bad-***.
My next chevy [292 six] I used clifford headers...sounded a little more "brash" but still wonderful.
