235CI Pushrods

    I smoked 5 Pushrods in a 58 235ci, I do have a 65 vintage 235 Donor motor and I have not pulled the rods out to measure them yet but can anyone shoot from the hip to tell me if they are the same rod ? Thanks for the input!

    If that's truly a '65; it's the later type engine (194, 230, 250, 292), and they won't work. If it's really a 235, they will.

    Yeah, no such thing as a '65 235. 235s had two different pushrod lengths, depending on the style of the lifter. The last engines to use the tall lifters were in '54 standard shift cars. After that, the pushrods should be the same for both hydraulic and solid cams.
