Questin: Where do you install the water temp guage and the oil presure guage at?
I know where the chevy ones go, but I don't know **** about these Y blocks.

On my 272 when I had it , I installed the water temp gauge in the intake and the oil pressure where the oil sending unit was located . Just use the stock locations .

Y blocks have a row of pipe plugs down the left side of the motor that line up with the stock oil sender. Pick whichever one will stay away from the exhaust, or tee in to the stock sender. For a temp gauge, I drilled and tapped the intake right behind the thermostat. Its a thin casting, so go slow.

Should be a threaded hole in the rear of the driver side head, at the rear of the intake, where the original temp sending unit was. If you don't use it, be sure in plug it with a bolt to keep it from sending water out.
