I ain't exactly in the El Jefe inner circle, but I haven't heard it's off. Im betting that Steve and the boys will figure something out if at all possible. My buddy Sandman has been building a dragster for about 2 years now and I aint gonna be the one to tell him that it's off. I'll just go up there, break in and hire some actors with greasy hair to stand around the track. It will be much cheaper than funding his counseling.

 

Counseling wont help! I missed the HAMB drags, I'm not missing the Day of the Drags even if they dont have it. I'm with you Crease on busting in. I have to teach a certain 33 Blown Hemi powered guy the fast way down the track. That is if he can get it to run.......Ha ha ha ha. Hows that for starting some smack!

Please keep us informed up here in Okieland. Need to get some info from the Kontinentals, so's we can get accomadations and such taken care of. Quite a few of the OKC guys are planning on coming down that way. 3 weeks is getting real close for the ones who have their own shops & employees, etc.

We also have the Martinez track and if you want an old rustic bumpy ass track where cows can be one of the track hazards, plus they have lights out there and you can race at night!

 

Alls I know is that if I can get my foot healed up enough to drive, I'm going 100 mph. in a 1/4 mile. Somewhere.

And I expect a patch for it when I get done...... And a hug.

We have talked about going to Marion, but kinda waiting til Sandman's rail is done. So it could be soon. If there is enough interest we'll see if we can pull it off.

Just saw on the Little River website that it looks like they'll be "up and running again in the next couple of weeks."

 

Here's what it says......

CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE​

We are still under contract negotiations, and the track will remained closed until the issue is resolved. We hope to have a definitive answer by the mid part of next week as to the direction the track is going. Ideally, we will be able to race again next weekend, but that is still up in the air at this point. Just want to say thanks for all the support we have received from racers and fans alike. I guess we had no idea that so many people would be as understanding as they are. Thanks again.
