    You do pro work!!
Glad to see what you did.
Sorry to see you moved. Wife's folks are in Crowley and in Plano. I never knew you existed prior to my stumbling across your build.
Would have liked to have met and visited with you for a bit.
I built my share of T hot rods in the mid to late 60's. It was a huge fad back then. Mine were ok but not on the level you have shown everyone. I even TOOK down notes! I ust to hate the Rat Rods and such but I have seen things that I NEVER knew possible with several fo those. Further, you guys are out there having fun while guys like you and I are in the shop/ garage working. You have shown one of the hardest things that I was ever able to TEACH my students! Patience, repetition, and staying on target to get anything done!
My HAT IS off to you young feller!!!!!
Great work! You get an A+. Watch out... I did not give a lot of those in my life to students. Glad to see your progress.

  3. Spectacular build! It is unreal how much work it takes to build something so simple and clean looking. I believe this car will go down in history like the Tom Branch roadster , Chris Casney coupe (and roadster) and a few others. You are knocking it out of the park! One of the best Ts ever built.

I've always been a little on the fence about Ts but you make me a believer. Thanks for sharing your awesome build. Subscribed

That chopped '37 grille shell looks like it belongs on the car. Keep a knockin', Bud.

Anderson's draglink is NOT short like those illustrations. His is ALMOST as long as the 'bone.

please don't use the 37 grille...you already have perfection in the T grille

    No, NO IT DOESN'T

I think he was quoting an old post from earlier in the thread.
We can only hope the T shell is there to stay as it is perfection on this car.

I really like that seat. Not over the top or trendy. The car is going to have so many interesting things to look at, it doesn't need some rivet-filled butt cramper to draw your attention.

  13. Agreed! The seat is refreshingly simple. It looks great.

Remind us again what the final colour will be?

Rivet filled butt cramper. :D
I have a pair of Frank Wallic bomber seats that are a work of art.
Stuffed into my 26 RPU and fitted with the upholstery pads they are every bit as roomy as that bench seat. :)
The bench is nice, but I also like my bomber seats.

I knew I'd get a comment out of that post. ;)

Truth be known, I am considering making an aluminum bomber seat for my own T project. But the seat in this thread sure reminds me of the KISS principle.

  16. That tunnel came out nice!,
The seat is a whole nother level of simple beauty.
    Such a great build!

With every turn there is a heartwarming display of taste. It's inspiring man. It doesn't take much more than the right set of decisions made with the right kind of respect for it to go to the next level. And it's definitely at the next level. I wish my car was half as cool as this thing is turning out to be. For realz. It's just that great!

At the risk of tremendous redundancy, this is a terrific build. Truly inspiring.

I too like the bench. I think something similar will be in my '26 Chevy and I'll forego the "rivet-filled butt crampers".:D Butt to each his own.

You should be proud of the trans cover. It is a very complicated piece that was well designed ,welded and metal finished to a high level. I hope you just plan to put a coat of shiny paint on it so that you can show off your workmanship.

  26. I hope someday I can build a car this awesome.

Wow, I'll bet that trans cover kept you awake a few nights. Nicely done, and I'm
a sucker for tube axles, especially chrome ones.....
