Don't laugh too hard. This is my first attempt at building a vehicle. I built a 67 Camaro but that was just bolt on stuff. This one actually requires a little fabrication. Or an attempt at fabrication. I'm learning as I go. Is anyone else building anything like this?????

Yes there are some other T build threads presently on the Hamb. Just keep checking. I'm sure someone will post their threads. Good start. Keep at it.

I guess you got to start some where.
Looks like you got plenty of cab space with tha rear 1/4 panel setup.
Take it slow and easy and ask lots of questions there is a heap of knowledge on here.
    Go for it...

Nice mockup. What are the doors and rear setup from?
When you go to cut the windshield down, think about bringing the lower section with fixed glass down if you're just think about 2-3-4-5 inches and maintaining the top swinging frame as is. If you want to bring it down half way, it's your choice to keep the bottom fixed frame, or cut that entire section out of the posts and drop the top swinging frame and posts down and weld the upper posts to the bases.

I like this one a little better than the last one. the last one seems too tall. Not even sure if its a 25 or not. I may run this one with just the bottom section. I like the looks a lot better.

The doors are from an old TT truck I think. I got them on ebay several years ago. The rear radius rods are 36 ford and the bed is a model T that I took 20 inches out of.

i like the looks of mine too! that other windscreen frame just looks kinda... off on your body. then again, bein a short fella, i'll have no problem tuckin in behind just the bottom portion. might even have the headroom to put a little softtop on it for rough weather days too. :) you thought about wipers yet? i'm considerin a crossbar up top between the pivots so i can mount a single wiper and motor up there cuz i dont wanna drill the cowl for a wiper arm.... thoughts? ideas? ridicule?...

The tall windshield assembly with the stamped posts is 23-25.
The lower one with forged steel stanchions is 17-22, just the bottom frame and the lower half of the hinges for the top frame.

It's pretty easy make a removeable bracket for a windshield wiper motor so you can remove it when the weather looks good.

Finally got the bed back together. Shortened it 22 inches, patched some rust spots and had it sandblasted and shot with metal etching primer. Then, borrowed a rivet gun and rivietd it back together.

I've been told that these old 36 radius rods won't stand up to a late model V8 so I made some gussets out of some 3/8 plate I had laying around. I just recently bought a wire welder and am trying to learn so don't look too closely at my welding. It's a good thing that I have a grinder....

I got the pinion angle set and and the rearend welded up. I had a pro weld it since it's suspention related. Got the radius rods re-angled and welded and then did the gussets and mocked it up on the welding table. She's still pretty rough but I'm making progress....

What frame are you using? I am doing a '27 T but they are quite a bit different from yours - more like an 'a' for legroom.

I've been tinkering with a little machine turned aluminum. I'll cut out a few pieces to put in the cowl steering bulkhead....
