Anybody out there have a lead on a 25-spline slip yoke with a 1.5" barrel and a 1310 u- joint?

I think they might have been used on early 60s Ford 3- and 4- speed transmissions but I can't seem to locate one, new or used?

I've run across many 25- spline yokes for Mustang and Falcon sixes but they all have 1 3/8" barrels.

    Thanks for any help.

  2. If can't find one, have you considered a u-joint that goes from 1310 to 1330 or 1350?

I might have to do that but I'm trying to keep the size down. This is for an MGB and the tunnel is pretty tight.

I have one of the small Falcon yokes. I think I might try to press a piece of .065 wall 1.5" DOM over the barrel to get the diameter I need.

My Falcon trans (T10) has a 25 spline yoke and is 1.5 od. If I remember right the 6 cylinders had that small od yoke. Is yours a V8 trans?
I don't see why your idea to press a sleeve would not work, probably have to hone the ID to get a good fit, but worth doing.

I was going to suggest a pressed sleeve to increase the OD, but you're already there haha!!

Well, that worked! I grabbed a piece of 1.50 x .065 wall DOM. It was about .003 too large to fit into the tailshaft so I chucked it up and polished it until it fit nicely. Then I pressed it on to the yoke with some lok***e.
