I am having trouble keeping my eyes off this thread.

You've nailed the build. Era perfect.

Just goes to show, you don't have to do much to end up with a lot.

Now if you were to ever sell it ........... ;)

Got the rear floor done in the turtle deck. Didn't want something fancy, something that fits in with the build. I think these are cedar (they were up in my garage rafters) and are rough cut. I will sand them out a bit to smooth them a little and probably be stained black. Dash is also done and going back together for the last time.

Funny you say that, these are touring top irons, there was about a 4 foot chunk I cut out. There is another arm that connects and goes forward to the windshield but I have to modify it greatly.

This is how the arm attaches, not permanent, it slides out and goes in the lower bracket that you can barely see when the top is put down. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1397607707.631026.jpg

No problem man, glad I could help out. I have extra touring top iron stuff so let me know if you need anything.

Yesterday I had some time so I decided to work on the seat. Again I wanted something simple and waterproof. This is what I came up with. It is rather comfortable and I fit in it very nicely with the added padding/cushions.

I have been trying to button up some stuff I was neglecting and today I pretty much finished them (floor boards, rear floor, firewall, etc) and I am looking forward to getting her running. Only thing now is to mount the tank, plumb the fuel line and she is ready to start other than hoses and coolant. I added a third body mount today behind the door and shimmed it all down for the last time. Radiator was mounted with springs as a model A are. My wife snapped some pics before the chassis gets cleaned/taken apart/cleaned again, painted etc.

A perfect pre-war jalopy, that would be terrorizing the Lincolns and Duesenburgs.
Not taking anything away from your build at all, but this is a great example of not over doing it and the KISS principle.
The roadster is brilliant. Well done!
I will be the guy with the foreign accent drooling over it at Sins!
    Cheers,
    Stewart.
