Rooster...you've got me thinking seriously about my 64' Belair's 6cyl.I was considering a small block but now I'm not so sure....$4.00 gas prices are sure making that hopped up 6 look pretty good.

I need a split manifold for my daily driver - a 63 Chebby II.
like this idea because it retains the intake manifold heater and it should be low buck.

I have 2 stock manifolds to work with. Any tips on how to do this? Where would I get that nice tube/flange for the second outlet? I have a buddy who can weld anything, so I might give this a shot.

I have a 63 Chevy II that I was using as a daily driver up until about December - then I spent too much on paint and am afraid to drive it now :(:(

Stovebolt headers are too bad, just depends on what your budget is I guess. I think I got mine for about $250?

If you end up making the split manifold yourself, you'll have to post the pics to let us know what they look like... do***ent the process too maybe?

YeeHa. I just ordered my offy valve cover, it has no baffles or hole for PCV and I am running a PCV. Does anyone know if I can put the PCV on the back by the fire wall to avoid ugly stuff over pretty fins? Are no baffles a problem? This is on my 1970 250 thats in my 63 wagon ....engine pics above.

Be sure to center it between the rockers like the stock one. And yes it should have some type of baffle or you'll be ****ing oil out of the head ,because it will splash and the Va*** will get it. Got it ???

I saw this cool setup on inliners this morning. The supercharger is from a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville GTP 3800 V6:
