Their seems to be a lot of interest in the '26-'27 modified and i got bit by this bug. I saw a-*****s on a post and contacted him about the details. The body came from lions hot rods in mchenry ill. Jim unruh (815-321-9828) is the proprietor of this shop and has made several of this style machine. I ordered my body from jim at the pileup. The body is well constructed and reinforced. It will require little prep if you want a color other than gelcoat. The revele lines are crisp and their is no waviness in the panels. ILL POST SOME PICS AS THE BUILD PROGRESSES Nice job Jim !
Did you pick up your body at his shop?........the last time I was there Jim had about a half dozen modifieds in various stages of construction........and all of them different!.........always worth the trip down there.
I PICKED IT UP SAT AND IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT. ITS ALWAYS A PLEASURE TALKING W/JIM. I WANTED TO INCLUDE A VISIT TO WAUKESHA BUT THIS WAS A SOURE OF THE MAMENT ARRANGEMENT.
