    G,day from oz

I have a 26/27 ford roadster cowl and doors. I want to build a roadster rear but need some basic dimensions so i can start to fab the wood mockup... i know its a big job but old tin is hard to get in australia.... any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Hope this is clear enough...
    1.overall length
    2.length of rear guard recess
    3. hight of rear guard recess
    4. height of rear quarter base
    Thanks

    1. 90 3/8", hard to measureby myself , this is on outside edge of the body(curves from front to back) from front of cowl to rear of body (subframe)
    2. 29" length of whell opening, taken inside of lip
    3. 8" bottom of body to top of wheelwell, below lip
    4. 3 1/4" . This is the subframe.

I have a nice uncut unmolested original 26 roadster that is dis***embled. Need anything elsePM me.

  4. Nick, fill out your location info a little better. Someone local to you might be able to help you out with seeing a steel rear for yourself.....

And try to do an intro in the intro section.

thanks BELLM... thats a great help
i will start on the mockup this weekend....i will post some picks when i get it done.....that 26 roadster sounds great... its a pain living on the other side of the planet.... by the time you import a car, it ends up costing more than the thing is worth....
