Wow, thanks everybody. I'll try to get some better pics up soon. Those phone pics kinda suck. Those lights get better the more I look at them. I think they stay. Thanks again. They are just some random lenses and bezels I had from the junk box. I don't know what they are.
Front spring, rear hanger, if that makes sense, haha. I was trying to use 46 ford truck pieces, but they were just too big.
I think that car would look great with me driving it. After all, I am a 1 round draft pick. Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
Little update, not much progress on the car. Someone got side tracked. 60*360=21600 minutes 21600*(18/360)=1080 1080+56.84=1136.84 21600/1136.84=19
On another note, I did manage to clean the garage and get the dash filled. I made a mess of it the first time, so this is 2.0. Tig, hammer, grind, repeat.
a truely great build it great the way you have presented each step with pictures love the hub puller just finished on useing your pics as an example excellent saves me heaps you present it like paint by numbers well done
Thanks guys! Most of the credit goes to my fab guy/engineer buddy Pineapple. I'm really still just a hack. Slowly getting better all the time.
I WISH I was an engineer, then I would know better than to fool around with old rusty junk..Maybe I could even move out of my boxcar down by the river.
Wow, thanks everyone who is following along with this. We are just some knuckleheads restyling rusty crap in our garages. I wish we had documented Pineapples's stuff. Hope everyone else is having as much fun as we are. More updates soon!
Time for an update. This one is a big step. I'm really glad to have this mostly done. Still have to finish weld the mounts to the frame, but the bones are mounted.
Okey dokey. Snow day update. We got the steering worked out and need to do some machining on the pitman arm. Gathered up some parts and made a plan. Got the shock mounts installed and figured out headlight placement. Still need to add the headlight stands, but it's looking really good.
It IS looking really good! Looks like you'll be driving it soon. When is the radiator going to be done?
Thanks guys. I need to call and see what' going on with the radiator. I told him I was not in a hurry, haha.
