I posted a status on Facebook about an old Ford cabover I spied while driving the freightliner for my job, not ten minutes later my oldest brother sends me a message about a "28 coupe" for free...I wanted a T not a 28, but free is free... ...I call the fellow who has it, turns out it's a '26, not a '28, this is the last car on my personal "bucket list," so yeah I finally went and got it. It's rough in some peoples' eyes, but not as rough as the TT truck I had a few years back, and closer to what I really want...I wound up trying to make a coupe out of that TT cab...ugh...it found a new home where someone is finishing what i started and it doesn't look too bad. I'm missing doors, someone cut the trunk out at some point in the past, and it's got the typical rot around the bottom, along with some crusty stuff up top on the driver's side where a cedar tree had grown up and around it, looks easy enough to me! LoL...maybe I'm a glutton for punishment? It ain't gonna be a rat rod, I'm going to attempt to keep it "traditional," with a little personal creativity here and there. I don't think I want to chop it...that may change though. So far I'm thinking a 289 might find it's way between the yet-to-appear rails.
Looks like a better start than some others that have been posted. Good luck with it and..... not EVERY coupe has to be chopped.
