Another drive today and Jan joined me.
A little cruise through a local park and then to our favourite Tim Hortons for coffee.

    Some more smiles and kilometres.

Then back home to enjoy some patio time with a view ;):D

Of course I did have to stop to post this :D

Thanks, I think I’ll be okay, I keep a close eye out for where they are and I can usually spot them before it’s too late :D

I ordered up a set of Winters 6 spline helical gears from Summit.

    Also ordered the shim kit.

I spent a little time on the phone talking to Mike the tech guy at Winters this morning.

He told me what I needed to set up the helical gears and said that they would work really well with my application and that shimmed properly I wouldn’t have any problems.

The few times I’ve called Winters they’ve been really good and helpful.

For illustration only :D not the ratios I ordered :)

Funny how you find any reason to drive it, huh? :D

The truck looks great, that color came out really nice with the black base coat under it. Which reminds me, with all these pics of the car I need to up date my Washington Blue thread! ;)

When one wants to jerk your chain a bit! There's always a way to make a joke, I think.

Hard to carry that package on a moped. Good thing you had a pickup handy. This is like when my pit bull gets a new squeaky toy! I love it! :)

That exhaust has got a fantastic sound to it! Good tone, a little thump/ gargle to it. Bet it just screams when you wind it up! Congrats again :)

You better stock up on Sunblock for all your trips lately.

Sounds great going by but the sound after you pass the camera is music to the ears.
