Hey all, So I bought my first real “hot rod”, a 1965 el Camino with a 250 straight 6 and a Saginaw 4 speed. I’ve had it for about a month, it’s my only vehicle, and I gotta be honest I’m getting a bit burnt out on working on it everyday. I swapped in a rebuilt 250 and the 4 speed, replaced the floor pan, and put in nice bucket seats. This week I started sanding the body and boy is it harder than I thought. I was planning on painting it this week however I’m losing motivation. However, It’s my daily driver and runs like a champ. Any tips or tricks on how to “cool off” on a project you’re getting burnt out on? Much appreciated and will be looking for motor hop ups soon like a dual carb intake and headers.
Welcome!!!! Just run it and do what you can afford to do a little at a time. So many people blow them apart and never finish them. Enjoy
