Technical 261-235 intake port spacing

i was going to bore an Edmunds intake for locator rings. However the owner tells me that the port spacing on his head is 8 9/16 center to center. I believe the correct spacing is 8.625 center to center. Anybody with a head or stock manifold who knows the correct spacing? I'm not cutting this thing until I know the correct dimension.

 

No one here has a Chevy 6 that can measure the port spacing?

 

I measured up my McGurk triple intake, as it was the easiest to get to and found the measurement to be 8.625"or 119mm.
