265 chevy engine, 1956

1956 chevy engine short block and heads.... has oil filter but no side mounts.
Comes with block, crank, rods, pistons, heads, rocker covers. short block is ***embled. Checked today, pistons are .060 oversize.
Heads are power pak. the rocker cover holes are staggered, heads cast in 1956. Looks to be Chevy must have replaced a head under warranty.
Engine had about 23,ooo or so miles on it when it was pulled to be replaced with a 350.
includes new timing gears and chain, timing cover and new seal, water pump and fuel pump cores, crank pulley, water pump pulley, harmonic balancer, brand new stock 350 cam. Rams horn exhaust manifolds, no lifters,
no intake manifold or pan. You are going to want to use your car's original items for authenticity.
Engine has been decked for head gasket longevity by .008, and there is no engine ID number on the right front pad.
