Projects 26T build thread

  1. Surely!

Yeah, I've been trying to figure out the lights on my build for years now. I'm still trying to figure out the tail and signal lights, but the solution I cam e up with for the third light was to use an old tail light/plate holder with the lic. light. I've got a few of them in my bins and it solves both problems.

Dan, the last few years we’ve been leaving June open for non car related trips, last year drove out to Montana to visit family and tour the state which was a terrific 2+ weeks.
I know, have to get up your way again for BTT50’s, enjoyed it and you and Lucy’s hospitality big time, promise I’ll work on it..

The BTT50's has become more work than fun. This will be my 25 consecutive year and I don't know maybe I'm just tired. Anyway, if you and Pat decide to come this way you know all you have to do is call.

Hey Guys, the wife wanted to know if anyone asked about the grill insert. Said she'd bake cookies and send them to the first correct response. Ha! 100_3062.JPG

I'm glad you pointed out the probable bind that will occur on the top bars as the suspension bounds/rebounds.

Your the only one that's tried guessing. It is from an old 359 model Peterbilt.

Thanks for pointing me towards your build thread. Several differences between your direction and mine but I'm still stealing a few ideas!

    Great color.

Love the color. What’s going on with the gas cap area? Looks like there’s a knob or button on it.

    Just curious :)

Very nice, the color is really sweet. I really like the way you done those headers, the pipes are visible but yet tucked under.

  24. Just found this from your post on @LM14’s thread. Very nicely done. The B pillar delete is so sanitary that it is easy to miss. And I really like your grill shell. I was guessing it to be repurposed vent or cooling equipment. I would have guessed wrong. Glad you decided to share the build with us!

  27. x2 on the pipes. I like the way you kept them tight to the frame & body.
