    Very neat car.

love it when they stuck 32 tanks in the trunks of cars.

The pics i would say are definatly the car.

I would agree that is the same car............it is very unique and not much chance two cars have the unique boat windshield ,same wheels, chopped '32 grill, channeled on '32 frame and V8 wires.

More info on the pics?? This is great.

i finally got to talk to the orginal owner and found out that the roadster was built iin the early 50 s in crocker. nebraska. thats in the northeast corner of the state. he used a 32 pickup frame and running gear. His dad would take horses up to an indian reservation in so dakota an thats where he found the 27 roadster body. he traded a box of 22 bullets for the body and took it home. he built the car in the back shop area of the local buick dealer and had to replace any of the supplies he used, mostly welding supplies. the tail lights are from a 48 buick as are the instruments on the dashboard. the windshield and steering and wheel are from a36 ford sedan that had been wrecked and was in abandoned garage close by the buick dealer.it was powered by an early ford flathead motor, which was close to stock, except for cast iron fenton headers. he used the car to drive to and around college in so dakota. he than ran accross a 34 ford sedan for free and took the motor out of the roadster and put it in the 34 and drove as his every day car. the roadster was retired to the side yard of his familys house, until he moved to long beach california to work for several years. he than moved to washington and went and got the roadster and brought it with him. it never was used again, just sat in his garage until we bought the car. He has called and said he found the fenton headers and wanted to khnow if we would like to buy them. the answer is yes..jeff and i have found and bought a 36 ford flathead to put in the car. the original owners name is Douglas DE Vol, the car was registered to Cecil Hoffman his step dad because he was to young to register it in his name. those last two pictures are from doug , he is standig next to the car. he is looking for more pictures.he is now 74 years young. hope everybody enjoys this information, bruce (cabinet maker)

  24. Awesome find. I, sir, and deeply jealous of you and your newfound car!!! A friend and I called a guy about a "coupester" today that is rotting away in a side yard out in B.F.E, but of course he wouldnt get off of it..... Asshole will never do anything with it either.... I really want to kill those people and take their shit!!!
