27 roadster build pics - at last

  1. Heres some build pics of my 27 roadster. Been on the HAMB for 3 years already but at least now I know what a real hot rod should look like. Oh, finned calipers make disc brakes tradtional right [​IMG]

  3. Yeah you got it - its an Aussie version Leyland P76 - 270 cubes

    should be a fun ride,

    bet you could keep the weight down to about 1500 pounds using the gl*** body and aluminum block!

    I'm not too familiar with that particular motor, izzat similar to the Rover then?

    can you give us some info on the gl*** roadster body, we dont have much choice over here in the west

  7. The gl*** body is one of Ian Cameron's of Designed Ch***is on the Gold Coast. Ian's been making T bucket kits as well as these 27's for decades. Mine cost $1500 and is good quality. For someone on a budget it s acheap way to start a project. Although there is a guy down south making one piece model A'now if you prefer that style - theyre pretty cheap too
