Hello I am in the process of building my 27 roadster on a 31 frame and dropped axle. Ride height is 14 inches. I am using Brookville frame mount headlight/shock mounts, and speedway forged lower mounts. I center to center measurement of 14 1/2 inches between lower and upper shock mounts. I am trying to figure out what the proper size shocks would be, speedway has a a shock that is 10.63 inches compressed and 16.38 extended. I was wondering if this shock would work also If any one has used a more available shock . I have 5/8 lower mounts . Thanks

I found a shock that met my requirements It is a dual tube small body shock . Issue I have now is that the shock tube body hits the out side of my brookville shock headlight mount. I could machine away some material on the mount or try and find a mono tube shock . I found one on speedway but it is a gas charged shock any ideas?
