I don't have a whole lot of progress pictures.. but here it is. A frame Z'd 12 inches in the back, swooped 6 in the front and boxed. 4 in drop axle up front and a '48 ford rear end. '64 401 nailhead. It's channeled just to the bottom of the frame, but i'm thinking about going another 2 inches. Just chopped it the other night. Still have a lot of work...
I think it looks dead on as is.Did you box the whole frame?I saw the first pic of the frame, and it wasn't boxed in the rear, which I would for shure do.Your hot rod looks killer though.Keep up the good work, and keep us posted
yes, it's boxed all the way around. that picture was taken right after we z'd it. thanks, i will keep the progress pictures coming.
Hey esad pix, Your T is looking good! please show frame build pics and dimensions. Im doing the same build just with a big block ford. Keep up the good work!
new intake. 4x2 log manifold.. looks to be homemade from back in the day, still has the original chrome.
Hey custom, sorry, i'll try to get some pics of the frame here soon. I should be pulling the body back off this week hopefully... chris
built some upper shock mounts for the front. started on my cowl steering, should have some pictures up in a week or so, hopefully
How much space do you have between the rear tyre and the body? I ask as i am setting up a mates T at the moment and I tried a 48 with reversed wheels and there was only about 1 1/2" of clearance. Just wondering how/if you got more clearance.
i'm not sure what the box is exactly. i'm pretty sure it's a ford. i'll post a picture of it this weekend.
my tires rub right now with stock steelies on there, but i ordered some custom steelies with an offset to give me just enough clearance without the wheels looking too deep.
'51 ford dash mock up. i cut it up and tacked it together today. still have some work. sorry for the shitty pictures, it's just my cell phone.
