Projects 276 Desoto Hemi adapter ?

I have a friend who is putting a 276 Desoto hemi in his hot rod, just wondering if anyone knows of an adapter for the stock Hemi intake with a 2 bbl Carter and use a Stromberg instead. He can't afford the after market intake at the moment and does not have the stock carburetor either.

 

This is the kind of thing usually made on a drill press with a block of aluminum, a hole saw amd some drills and taps. But good luck, maybe somebody sells what you want.

 

A used carburetor that will fit the stock manifold shouldn't be too difficult to find. Dodge, DeSoto and Chrysler all had 2 barrel carbs in those days.

The bolt pattern is same as a Rochester 2G or 2 GC.
