276 desoto hemi need info

I have a 53 desoto 276 that had a fluid drive on it . There is oil galleries that run from the back of the block to the bell housing as the fluid drive used engine oil for its oil source. Wondering how u plug these off to use a torque flite ******.

 

I've been building mine for two years and never noticed that. I will have a look in the morning. Just purchased a Vintage speed 4 x 2 manifold and 4 new Stromberg 97's so I'm really committed to using it now.

 

The holes should be tapped...use a NPT pipe plug.
