    In need of some help here .. i've searched the modified thread and numerous others.........can anyone photoshop a TOP onto this please, these are the only pictures that i have at the moment more later this week when it arrives !!

  4. This isn't going to be a big help, but---Back about 4 years ago when I was designing the top for my roadster pickup, I downloaded and researched about a kazillion home made tops. SOMEBODY had a car very much like what you have there, and had a really sweet top that was built on a rigid non folding frame, which was hinged at the rear of the body. It was attached to the header above the windshield with some type of quick release fasteners, and hinged up and back to allow access to the car, as the doors were not functional. It was very well done, but I have no pics of it now, only the memory of seeing it.---Brian

  7. Keith--All is not lost!!! Sometime today I will root though all my rod magazines and find the article. I will scan it and post it for you, just because it looks so damn good.
     
  8. I'm sorry, but I could't find the article I wanted to copy for you. I have however went through my backfiles and found some of the solid models that I created when I was considering building a flip up style top for my roadster pickup. As things turned out, I didn't need to make a flip up style, I was able to get in and out quite comfortably with the top in the "up" position, but then of course, I have operating doors.
