Excellent work! I like the way you filled the notch for the steering shaft to pass under the bottom of the frame, and the gusset on your support bracket. Should hold up well, and it looks safe, while still showing true home-built flavor!! What are ya gonna POWER that heap with???
Thanks a ton for those pics. The steering box I have is very similar the three mounting bolts are the same but the side cover is different. Does any one have pics of steering boxes very close to the same as that one.
id love to take credit but it was another dude that came up with that..he said it would give me a lot more cab room 48 stocker flatty....black on black..supposed to be a low mile runner out of a farm truck.. i pulled the heads and checked all over for cracks...looked ok..we'll see the 13yr old earnin his stripes
Have you got any pics of the body you are using? I am also using 48 running gear, but I've got quarter eliptics up front.
