Anyone out there with a '28-'29 Model A Roadster that could get some measurements for me? I would like to get the door opening measurement (inside, jam to jam not the door itself). Also a*****pit measurement, say from the inside of the dashrail to the inside of the rear of the body. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

We have a model a roadster we are working on currently. Tomorrow I will take pictures and some measurements for you. If you have any other specific measurements you would like, just let me know.
Thanks for the offer carcrazyjohn, but I think I'll stick with a steel car, just in case there are any differences. kmajka, thank you. While your at it would you mind measureing both of the panels above, and below the decklid, and also the decklid opening, thanks again.
Here's what I have for you from the first post, I see now that you asked for more when I logged on. Will try to get those for you tomorrow. I'm in the middle of a 29 lowboy project, the body I have had new door sills installed by another, the doors & fit look good so I can only****ume the dimensions are too. From just above the upper hinge to the latch jam its 21 3/4" inside to inside. From the top of the body above the latch to the other door it's 51 5/8" outside of body to outside of body. From the tops of each windshield stanchion mounting "ear" it's 43 1/4" I hooked the tape measure at the rear of the*****pit, on the outside of the rolled lip (that the wood*****pit trim sits on) and measured to the dashrail piece (above the cowl) and it's 41 1/2". Hope that helps for now. Wonder if the others guys get the same ???LOL
I just measured my "virgin" steel body and I got the same measurments as 32cruzer. That kinda surprised me as many of these bodies varied as much as 1/4" when new.
