Does anyone know if folding posts, orchard, opera, etc are available online? As far as I can tell only John Williams makes folding upper stanchions or windscreen posts, whichever you prefer to call them, for '29 roadsters. I have adjustable lower stanchions much like '30-31 lower stanchions but made for the '28-29 cowl. The second hurdle is that I believe I have a 2" chopped windscreen and therefore need correspondingly chopped windscreen posts. I'd really like to stay with what I've got and not go the standard fixed '28-29 style windscreen posts. I am also reasonably certain that '31 or '32 adjustable posts cant work as the cup at the bottom of the post is around the opposite way. My posts have a distance of 8.5" between the upper and lower wingnut holes. I'm really hoping someone on here can help me as the posts I've got can't be made to work with the rag top I'm putting on. Are you saying you do have posts that will work with your lower stanchions, or not? But they are too tall? If so, get the chrome stripped, cut and shorten them, get them re-chromed. Or, please explain again in an orderly fashion because I'm confused. Car looks nice BTW.
