Any way to get the crank handle seperated from the crank? (window cranks) I have two of them hitting my back seat when I try and use them. I was wondering if I could cut the knob down to give me some room.

You mean you want to cut the arm down and refit the knob?

No. I want to remove the knob and cut in down and then refit to the arm.

  4. how about using the T-handle for the rear window of a `33-`36 ford coupe? or the quarter window handle of a model a 4-door? i think they are shorter

as for modifying your existing handles....anything can be modified .

A T handle would be just the ticket if there was enough room to drill the back for a set screw. I ground one of the handles off the arm and it is hammered like a rivet. I could cut the handle down and drill and tap it....looks like my only option.
