  2. Not really much to report in at the moment.. have kinda taken a side step to finishing the hood at the moment.

    I did manage to get one of my original latches, latch clip and handle attached to the frame and hood sides. They aren't there for functionality, i just really like the look of them. Got a local fella sending me another handle and some clips so i can do the front when they get here as well as the other side.

    I also made a start earlier this arvo making some dimple dies.. will need more round off cuts to finish the other side of the die though. So might take me a few days or so to get around to getting down to the local machine shop to pick up some s**** bits to turn into hot rod parts.

    This is my first time making press dies, so how well they are going to work is beyond me.. As long as it bells some holes in aluminium it'll do the job.

    Nice looking ride. Promise me you won't change the grill to a '32. Those 28-9 grills look so sweet in my opinion.
     
  4. I'm pretty set on keeping the A grill on this one mate! I think some cars just look better with a black 28/29 grill than a '32.

    Whats the distance between your taillights?
    Looking good to me and as i want to use the same 39´s like you on my 28 build i could need a little hint ;)

    Yeh same here, I wanted to particularly see the rear of the front wishbone mount...pics are all gone.
