Any one out there building a pick up useing a sedan body. It would be nice to see some pics and what ever problems and good ideas you have on the subject. We allready have the sedan body and maybe use the 4 door back section . That way we could have a small side window. Any how you get the drift ,so help much needed. Thanks a lot John

Posie*****s....met him on two different occasions...both times he acted like his***** don't stink.

  11. Posie is a funny character. If he knows you (even a little) he is nice as can be. If he doesn't he seems to be grumpy. Never seen him act like his***** don't stink.
As for his pick up it is sitting at the height he wants it. It has a round tude frame. The injection will be electronic I think. Plans are to have it done this spring from what I have heard.

I have never talked to the guy myself, but I did catch him looking the 37 over pretty good at the KKOA show a couple years ago in Lancaster. It made me feel pretty good that he took the time to look it over.

  14. Yeh I heard it will be like the artwork in R&C. I didn't know the artwork was done for you. I don't know if he is following the artwork to a "T" or not. We just saw it at his open house.
I was leary about posting the artwork for my bubbletop for fear someone would steal some of the ideas off of it but posted it anyway. I guess you wish that artwork didn't make it into the mag so quick.
Maybe you can get it mocked together and Jeem can get some pics in the front of R&C showing the truck the artwork was meant for.

I know Boyd, The Boyd that runs Curbside. He is supose to be building the frame to that truck. Boyd is realy good about building frames exactly like the drawings so they have that extream look. It should be an awesome ride! Hammer Hank

mine will be BETTER! and no i'm not talkin*****. i just think i have better taste and ideas than he does. it's hard to compete with his deep pockets and resources so it'll take longer but it will be better in quality and in design and finish. i asked Jeem and nobody contacted him about using the artwork. you'd think someone who has made a name for himself like Mr. Fenical would have contacted the artist before steeling his ideas. i suppose it's fair game once it's in the mags but you would think just out of profesional curtesy. it just breaks my heart a little that this SOB is gonna one up me by getting it done first. then everyone will think I copied him. so yeah, i'm a little bitter about it. i guess i keep the rest of the build up out of the public eye till it's done. i don't want any more ideas STOLEN. man, i need to chill......

Boyd is building MINE yes. at least the rails and boxing plates. he is a good friend and will likely lend a hand even more than that. he has some sweet ideas for the steering.

  18. Kustombuilder, some one told me that you basicly built that car from scrap metal... that you really didnt have anything to build off from...
Sorry, i havnt been following along with your sedan/truck project, but it sounds like you got a cool rod..

i started with a half way decent tudor sedan. i've been colecting parts since about 6 months before the art came out in RnC. actually since before Jeem even did the final artwork. i was hooked just from his rough sketches of the idea. it was all Jeem's ideas. JEEM is the real RULER!!

I know the wife of the guy that's building that truck. She used to think I was awsome, haven't checked lately to see if she has changed her mind.
