28 vin location

I have searched on my frame and on this forum and I am a little unclear where to find the vin on a 1928 Model A frame.

I know it should be on top of the drivers frame rail just in front of the firewall, but I can't find it. If someone could upload a picture of a vin stamped on the frame with another picture further out to show the location I would greatly appreciate it.

 

Here you go. It's behind the firewall not in front.

If you have a body mounted, you'll need to lift it to find it.

 

also a date on the fiewall sheet metal.

 

Well I found it thank you guys for the help. With the help of this site MAFCA.com I found out my 1928 Ford frame is a 1931. At least I know and now I am checking the numbers before I really get started on my build.
