Was that in Kramer's coffee table book?

I'd love to see the guts in that mill. The outside has my wow meter pegged.

That what happens when you don't use the site's thumbnail feature...
That's why I asked to post more pics using thumbnails...

They are for sure not TRW/Corvair turbos. Maybe F85 parts.

Yeah, Corvair turbos were very simple TRWs.
    No wastegates, etc.

This one has a special dpwndraft intake bolted to the turbo.

    "This album is Private."

Maybe if you make the gallery public it'll let you post pics here.

Any updates on tracking down the
history? Also, have you pulled off
a valve cover to see what's under
there? Also, it should show some
casting numbers for the heads that
    might shed some additional clues.

  25. Amazing find. "I" personally would like to see it go to the National Corvette Museum(because it LIKELY has CERV ties/Corvette history), but I seriously doubt they are buyers with their motorsports park project going full blast. I'm sure they'd accept it on loan though. ;)

Corvette 315 HP only, read they were recalled and replaced with cast iron. Very rare.

Now that the heads are off - what is the bore size /stroke and what type of pistons ? What a great discovery.

Must have been on display somewhere if the heads are bare. I wonder if it even has pistons and rods in it?
