Hey guys I'm doing an engine for a future project I have in my Pile of vintage goodies; A stock bore 65 283 block A steel 283 crankshaft A steel 327 crankshaft (sj) 291 heads w/194-150 valves Duntov 30/30 cam An old isky .650 solid roller cam T10 4 speed And a ton of other parts But I'm curious as to some of the builds that were done with 283s in the 60s early 70s I'm 35 now but when I was a kid, a guy my mom dated had 55-57 Chevys I remember the 56 had a 301 55 had a wicked 283. 57 had 311 ci All stick shift cars all were small journal 283 blocks Kinda curious to some cool builds that I can use as inspiration on my engine Thanks Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B.
