    Hi Guys,
Is there any special trick to hooking a 700R4 to a 1965 283 Chevy motor? Is it a straight bolt on with the same pattern, and will the mini starters fit okay?
    Many thanks,
    David D:confused:

Should be if it's a Chevy and not a BOP ****** bellhousing!! And styarter will be fine, just make sure you run the required small or big flexplate and matching starter bolt pattern.

Straight starter bolt pattern, small stuff and staggered bolt pattern, big stuff is all.

just make sure the "cable" or whatever it's called is adjusted right so it works properly.

The 700R4 only was manufactured in the Chevy pattern, NO B-O-P pattern 700R4's were ever made :D

The 2004R was made with the Chevy pattern and the BOP ... on some cases.
