I've got a 283 with a 097 Duntov cam and a tri power set up with Rochester 2g's. What size jets do I need to run?

  2. The stock sizes will be just fine.

Run them for a while then decide if you need a change.

Take al***ude into account as well.

Take a look at the Edelbrock tuning manual.
    http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/misc/tech_center/install/1000/1406_manual.pdf

Granted, not the specific info you want, but extrapolating some data from it, converting changes to percentages should give you a fairly good idea of where you want to go.

Pay particular attention to the tuning charts listing rod and jet sizes.

A small example would be my roadster with 750 cfm Edelbrock carb.
After moving from 350' al***ude to 3400' al***ude I went two steps lean using the chart for reference.

One thing to watch also is fuel pressure. Had a high pressure pump on mine and had trouble with them weeping and loading up. Someone ask about the pump and said that was it. Made the change to a low pressure pump and cured my problems. Runs like crazy!!!

I'm running a pressure regulator on mine, you need no more than 4.5 psi. I'm actually running 4 psi. Yeah, mine goes like mad too!!
