Very nice tin work Jim, I see the body that you started with, But that cowl resembles a Briggs cowl . Is that what it started out being? Man people are gonna ask you where you got that 3W from. Again Very nice work.
Simply stunning. The proportions are just right. The stance is perfect too. That is going to be one nice little car.
that's alot to be excited about, very nice work. i agree, perfect proportions and stance.....i would drive that*****er anywhere!
Two Words - 'Holy' and 'Shit!' That looks amazing - Love seeing shots like this - the before and after products. I take it you know what you're doing and are not a beginner? 16 months of work - how often do you think you worked on it per week average? Wow - Love it - Not usually a huge fan of the lines on a Coupe of this year - but something on this one works way too perfect. Love it.
Lot's of work......... turned out nice....... One suggestion....if I may..... If I had your metal working skills, I would cut the 3 holes in the bottom of the grille shell.....like a factory Henry shell. You know, the one hole for the crank and the drain slots on each side. Of course if you are going for the smooth no holes look.....then no holes.... The car looks very well proportioned ........and executed nicely. .
Jim, Thanks for the update, this is one of my favorite HAMB builds. I hope you plan on a two tone black paint job.
Hey Jim, nice work man! At first glance it reminds me of my '32 3-w with those red wires, light grey body and darker grey fenders.
Looking good Jim. Is this project still bound for Bonneville? If so perhaps a few details in that regard. Your firewall recess suggests an interesting intake. Nice idea with the 3 window and the work looks great.
Seeing the before pics - wow! Thats the stuff that sends Street Rodder readers hurrying to the phone to buy Glass. Nice job bringing that one back!
I don't post a lot of "nut tapping" posts.........BUT..... Jim, I am amazed. Just when it seems that all the broad strokes have already been taken; in a time where it seems that the only thing that sets one car apart from another is a minor detail... You have set the rule book on its' head...... This car is an idea that I haven't seen (not that I've seen them all by any means), and you made it look factory. Your work and idea are*****in' beautiful!!!! Poeple like you, Plowboy, Bleed, Tuck and a few others always find ways to inspire me to dream a little more.......... Thanks and WELL DONE! Tim
It will be disassembled, and being made pretty at that time. I am a hermit, and i*****. I never leave the shop, and i will be kicking myself all year for not going. jim
