This is a very old post. I let this car go in the condition shown above. Well, I just got it back. I am going to finish it just as planned. Black with classic flames, only now its got a 302 chevy in it with a front dizzy drive, 6 strombergs and an aluminum centered 57 chevy rearend. I will try to get some pics together tomorow.
and the top comes off. WOW. Very good looking ride. Amazing work. I love the way the front fenders hug those wheels.
Glad to see you got that one back...that 302 ought to scream in that lightweight car. I see 9000 RPM burnouts in your future!
Glad this thread and car got resurrected. That car is slick. No wonder you got the rep of bringing cars back from the dead.
Well, we got it plumbed. built a mount for the remote water pump. The body has went through a few changes. I am makinjg an aluminum decklid, I unchopped it 1 inch to make headroom a lil better. We added a removable roll cage, and Im contimplating aluminum floor boards and fenders for it.
Killer job... dig everything from stance to fenders and wheels...can't wait to see it in color... BTW, what color you going with?????
