Well, with my two small boys, and a 6-7 day a week job, and no proper shop, I wasn't finding time to work on my '29 Chevy sedan project! So I sold the Chevy and bought a running /driving '55 Desoto Firefliite from a fellow h.a.m.b.er! Still lots to work on, but driveable at the same time. This car has the original 4bbl 291c.i. hemi and a previous owner added dual exhaust! I am very happy with my decision, and my wife even likes it! As this is my first hemi, I expect that I will have lots of questions for the resident "experts"!

Nice to see one that didn't get stripped of it's engine and grille. Wide whitewalls would do that car a world of good.

Thanks for the positive comments guys! Sorry, I don't have any vintage Chevy parts left. I let everything go with the car.

I do have a set of wide whitewalls already mounted on a set of Studebaker wheels that should bolt right up! (5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern) I hope to have those on this weekend.

I am undecided on whether to use my baby moons and trim rings, or some full cover chrome smoothies. The Desoto has a nice set of original wheel covers, but I feel she needs a "custom" touch.

Below is a pic of the wide whites with moons and trim rings on the Studebaker.
