My favorite from the "old days" was Dave Marasco's roadster pickup with the bed shortened a foot and the body moved back 4 to make room for the '55 265" SBC. It was in the April '63 R & C in an article with Ray Silva's similar 283" powered R-P-up. It has a longer bed. There's also a steel roof p-up in it, this time a "Resto rod" style, but it was before the ***le, by Ben Boasberg, with all the bells and whistles and cowl lamps and chrome Lincoln wire wheels (six of them!) and a '59 Vette with dual quads. All three are full fendered San Francisco Bay area cars.
Neal that first pic is the one I was hoping I'd get. Django- That first green on green rpu is *****in'! I love the stance and look! Still wierd about the miss-placed wheel though ...
I think this is an amazingly good-looking array of trucks. Must be that guys with '28-'29 RPU's have inherently good taste.
