I have had this thing for to 2 years now trying to come up with somthing to with it. The plans call for a chop, channel and a section.
I've sectioned 6" out of the rear side window and removed the rear doors. I also chopped 4" out of the top. plans call for a 4' channel and a T box for the rear. I will post more as I go if you dig.

B what the hell is goin on?? No I've been out with some steel in the eye that rusted in my eye etc. Last Friday I Removed all the old wood and started to replace with steel. That's when I got the shit (steel) in my eye along with some welding flash.

Great start!! Now I know what my fordor truck could have looked like if I'd have had a back half to start with.

Could you post a pic of your blk n white 59 from the rear? that is how mine came originally, and I would like to get an idea of what the 2 tone would look like.

It's getting better. The eye Doc dig's it out with a pick like tool and then uses a buffing wheel to buff out the rust etc.
    Fun stuff

I've been back at the project I've channeled the body 4" and added some 1X1 steel tubing for the body structure to replace the old wood. The old Brigg had just as mush wood as my 30 Chevy Coach. I've also add the sides for the roof. In the next week i will be removing the body from the table and mock it up on the floor of the garage with the box behind wheels engine etc.

Sticks, I love your ride. I was considering doing something very similiar myself. Hope your eye is OK. I had the same thing happen and I know it sucks when they go in to scrape the rust off of your eye!!! Later, keep the pics coming. Jimmy
