Maybe you should grow up instead of trying to pick a fight with me all day. Did you try to pick a fight with Kevin Lee all day too? I hate rat rods and I hate guy's that waste old car bodies to build shit. I think it is funny and laugh in your face for all of the bashing and all of your work bringing up old replies that I made to bash me today. Good night and I hope you gain some talent and skills before you ruin another classic car body. Sticks it up your ass putz:D:D

There was no bashing or trying to pick a fight. I was just stating that you are the man. From what I see here you are bashing me. And were did I say anything about building a rat rod in my posts. I'm not done with my build at this point. So why do you have to put a label on it?

Thanks Sticks. It's not to everyone's taste, but mine will have a aircraft fuel tank (which is actually the leading edge of the wing) from a 40's Piper Cub. The tank will go where the PU bed would normally be located.

I've just made a big move to New Mexico from Knoxville, TN, so my project has been on the back burner (way-back). By late June I should be able to get serious again......can't wait!!!

Yeah we love it out here. My wife and I have planned to move here for about 8 years now, and are so glad we did it sooner rather than too much later.

Look for more progress pics from me by June or July.

I build my headers for the 29 project over the week end thought you would like to see them. I used some pipe I got at speedway motor. The pipe had one 180 degree and one 90 degree mandrel bends on them. I still need to make some baffles etc.

Will I got the project all mocked up, and I'm tearing it down. Last night I removed the body, box, and motor. So at this point I will finish up on the welding for the frame and finish the body work and start painting all the parts. I will post more pic's and info as I go.

Well, I finished up the welding on the frame and done got the paint on her, (the frame). I got the brakes installed, plumed etc. I rebuilt the Motor about 2 weeks ago with help from my uncle. Installed it into the frame and fired her up on Sunday (it seemed fitting) this last weekend. My girl got shots of the motor break-in.

I know what it takes to cut one of these things up. It's not easy. I think you've done some good work bringing the two ends of the body together.

The thing I don't understand is your reaction to the constructive criticism above. I don't think any harm was meant, just input. What's with the "retaliation comment/eye for an eye" stuff?

Hey man, I’ve seen your work and it looks like good stuff. Thanks for being able to relate to the hard work we put into our cars etc.

As far as the comments about constructive criticism I call bull shit to that. Some dude/people talking about way to long etc etc. Like that dude/people hold the play book on this game.

Thanks Bro. I hope to have it on the road for the Michell, S.D. show.
You guy's coming up this year?

Mike said you took him for a ride in your new car and told me that it was bad ass.

  26. All of your hard work sure shows.

You have built the quintessential rat rod.

    Keep up the hard work!

If you want to build something in that style, you should be thicker skinned when people offer criticism. This is a public forum, and by posting pics of what you are doing, you are putting yourself out there for positive and negative comments. This is a traditional hotrod board, and sometimes builds like this arent received with a red carpet and a lei around your neck. I've posted some of the non traditional stuff as well, and have been flamed pretty bad in the past. No big deal.

And, I agree with Kevin Lee.
