    not that I recommend it, but you could chew on a wad or aluminum foil and spit out a perfect panel !
    Your metal fabrication skills are perfection !

  12. do you find that you get more or less distortion when welding patches in with straight cuts and 90* corners or with rounded more free form edges? I can see it is easier to make it fit good with straight edges but I have had good luck with rounded patches.

    Done it all the ways and all seem to be pretty close to the same results .

  14. thanks for the response, At times I have a hard time controlling warping at an hard 90* corner. But was surprised at how well it turned out when I did a round patch. I guess that is where skills come into play.
