to use an open drive banjo center with 1936 axles and axle bells.....

you have to press off the taller open drive inner bearings and press on a set of shorter 1936 bearings - 5.28.09

Scott Lauren is using parts off each axle.... the bells and the axles out of the 36 and the open drive center out of the late truck rear. But let me know what you need and i may have parts or a axle for you.

  12. This is great and looks good! For me, part of the adventure is the learning process. Self reliance! Can't wait to see the pics after your first outing - when is the ETA?
I picked up a copy of Emersons essay "Self Reliance" for inspiration and this is what he is talking about..............

There are a couple different angles on diff gears on the ends of the axles as i recall,

So if the spider gears arent the originals with the ends of the axles they might not mesh proper

Mark probaly already knows that, but figured i'd mention anyway just incase

    Good luck!

    Hey Lauren,
I don't know if Mark told you, but I just picked you up a Fluke volt meter. It's a good tool to have. I will just give it to Mark.
