    made pattern for floorboards - the X is for support of the pattern to make sure it wouldn't shift 5.10.09

    finally finished channeling the remainder of this side - hard to see in this pict tho.
    one floorboard in - sanded down and routed 5.10.09

    you can see some of the channeling better in this pic...
    painted the three boards - waited to do the final one cos still working on pedals 5.10.09

    you are better off converting a car rear to open drive...imho... there is a great sorce from a hamber but i can't remeber his name...

    UPDATE

    a bell crank made out of 3/8 steel plate with a bronze shaft

    and then made a bracket out of steering shaft to hold it

    now the clutch works, yay!

    making pattern for final floorboard - finished channeling the inside near the pedals 5.12.09

    make an "x" so it stays in place 5.12.09

    we also bent the pedals more to make them fit, not shown, but will be soon once everything is tweaked right.

    ground off the nub for pedal clearance 5.13.09

    bent the pedals more for clearance for steering column and tranny - poor pedals... 5.13.09

    cut off excess channeling inside - so much going on in here...such a small space 5.13.09

    Very cool. Drive the crap out of that thing. You have to video tape that first ride and first start up....congrats to you.

    This is definitely a fun thread to watch. The coolest part, in my opinion, is that even though it has not been going on for too long, it is easy to tell that the quality of craftsmanship is increasing with every post. Keep up the good work!
