SOLD Traditional styled Model A street rod up for sale or trade. This build was originally completed in 2008 and in 2014 the drivetrain was updated with new C4 transmission and flathead. The body and chassis has about 13k miles on it since the custom build was completed with about 3k miles on the current flathead. The build was a complete custom body and frame project. Just reach out. 1928 Ford Model A original steel body in PPG black Mercury Flathead from the Richard Munz collection- professionally rebuilt and lots of period correct parts Mated to C4 automatic transmission that was rebuilt at the time of the flathead install 4-bar suspension that is almost all stainless 32 Ford steel grill shell and insert Ford 8” rear end Full stainless exhaust system paired with Magnaflow mufflers Coker wheel and bias ply whitewall set up Gas tank was relocated inside body with filler cap near rear window VDO gauge set up in car- dual water temp gauges added for the flathead Frame has additional engine mounts for Ford SB in case owner wishes to move away from flathead in the future The Model A has an unfinished interior, so the next owner can make upholstery design and decision Vintage Air system is installed and plumbed in the car, but condenser is not installed for cold air Body mods are extensive, this was professionally built and craftsmanship shows on the unique body modifications: Roof was filled in with a donation from an Astrovan- adds a unique ribbing to the roof Vertical seams removed and filled on the rear Cowl removed and raised up to meet front window- this matches the styling similar of a 32 ford Drip rails removed over move the body sides and replaces with a steel rod and contoured with body Front visor replaced with steel rod and contoured to body Door knobs removed and filled with push knob added underneath door to open 2 inch chop in front and 1.5 inch chop at rear Frame and underneath of body had equal attention with body work and paint, excellent underneath condition.
