Damn Missed out on a sweet looking sedan chop top. Thats it, I am selling all my toys and holding out for something similiar to this. Went for $8,500.00, I got to get me one of these.
Use your 'holding out' time in the garage if you can. There isn't 5K in that car. I thought about buying that thing myself. On closer inspection, I realized I would have no choice but to take it back apart and start over. Don't buy a 'rat rod'. Been there, nothing but shame. Unless you're in high school.
WHOAAA BUDDY!!!!! Aint nothing wrong with "rat rods" for 1 and 2nd. that converted 4door clearly has no more than 4k in it.
You know how the saying goes, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". I know it would have taken a little work, but compared to some of those $20,000.00 rods I have seen, and they still need more work, it looks like roses to me.
Get an old body and build your own damn car. For cryin' out loud it aint rocket science. You'll be way ahead in the long run and it'll be your ride not something that someone else built and you wrote a check for.
