Projects 292 Chevy low rpm torque build

    The stock points distributor really won't do much for performance use; the breaker plate is held in place by a simple spring, and the plate can move about very easily. The HEI distributor is a more solid foundation to build on. ALL 250 pistons are dished, as are 292 pistons; the 230 takes standard bore 283 pistons, right down to the 4 valve reliefs that are't even needed (the compression height is also the same as 283 pistons). Currently, on that auction site we all know and love, is a set of FLAT TOP, 292, six cylinder pistons, AKA propane pistons. There is also someone selling a bunch of 292 six performance parts. I have nothing to do with those items. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
