I am wanting to put on an Offy 2X1 manifold and Fenton cast iron headers on my 292 in my 53. The Speedway picture of the manifold looks like it has heat riser provision, but I dont see how it would integrate with the Fentons. Has anyone here ever used t a similar arrangement, and how did you set it up? And what carbs would work on this? Thanks, Steve

If you've really got a 292 in your car, Fenton headers won't fit it anyway. They only fit the '37-'62 engines.

I think he's got a 292 chevy inline six. Here is a not so good picture of mine, and a better pic before I painted the car. On the underside of my intake manifold, there is a water jacket. There are 2 fittings which I have piped to my water pump housing and the also the thermostat housing using 2copper lines. HTH
