So I just bought a remanufactured starter for my 292. I dont have the old starter to get the starter drive from. I think thats what its called anyways... They run about 90 bucks at checker and I dont have that kind of cash. Anybody out there have an old starter and drive that they can spare? Or tell me some place that I can get one cheeper? I keep pumpin money into this project thinkin that eventually its gotta stop, but it never does. Funds are runnin on low these days. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. $90 for a new bendix? Holy ****!! I'm in Michigan, just had my 292 starter completely rebuilt including the starter drive/bendix, cost me $60 total. I have one or two extras and I'd make the same offer as Jeff, but the beer'd probably be warm by time it got here. . .

I've been to AZ many times but usually don't get to stay very long. I was at Phoenix in April, just a stopover on our way to see the daughter in Vancouver. Wifey and I wll be going thru again in February.
